The Eastern Shore Indoor Sports Stadium was origanlly established in 1984 as the Clarence Indoor Cricket Centre. Redeveloped in 2002 by the Action Indooor Sports group it has grown to become one of the premier social sporting facilities in Tasmania.

Offering Indoor Cricket, Netball and Soccer it has over 250 teams competing on a weekly basis. Our central inner-eastern location, excellent facilities and consistent management have allowed us to be innovative and maintain market leadership.

Tasmania – The Apple Isle

Tasmania (abbreviated as Tas and known colloquially as “Tassie”) is located 240 kilometres (150 mi) to the south of the Australian continent, separated by Bass Strait. The state includes the island of Tasmania, the 26th largest island in the world.

The state capital and largest city is Hobart, which encompasses the local government areas of City of Hobart, City of Glenorchy, and City of Clarence, while the satellite town of Kingston (part of the Municipality of Kingborough) is generally included in the Greater Hobart area.

Geographically and genetically isolated, Tasmania is known for its unique flora and fauna. Tasmania has extremely diverse vegetation, from the heavily grazed grassland of the dry Midlands to the tall evergreen eucalypt forest, alpine heathlands and large areas of cool temperate rainforests and moorlands in the rest of the state as well as unique Fauna such as The Tamanian Devil and the Tasmanian Tiger.
