The British Workingman’s Club trades as The CASTLE ENTERTAINMENT CENTRE. The Club was established in 1954 and is one of the biggest Entertainment Venues in Adelaide with a seating capacity of (300) and car parking for (150). The Club has LIVE MUSIC with the most popular BANDS on FRIDAY NIGHTS as well as other special entertainment on many SATURDAY NIGHTS. These are also usually the ticketed big Cabaret Shows with Big Entertainment. The Bistro opens at 6pm on function nights for very affordable and delicious meals. We have one of the biggest and best dance floor in Adelaide.

DanceMax is celebrating it’s 8th big year offering NEW classes in Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, Tap and Acrobatics. Classes develop technique, posture, co-ordination, flexibility, self-confidence, health and fitness.
Down Town Dance Academy offers classes in tap, jazz, contemporary and ballet. Students perform in a mid year Cabaret show and an end of year concert held at the Preston Town Hall.
The Essendon Square Dance Club was founded in 1975 by David Hooper, who ran the club until he passed away in December 2007. Since this time, Ruth and John Humphrey have hosted the club, and Darren Taylor has taken over as our caller.
