Rugby Club

Armidale City Rugby Club was formed shortly after World War II and in those days met with a good share of success. The teams of the 1950’s contained many class players who represented at country level.

Engadine Lions have been in operation since 1994 after re-forming the defunct Engadine Wasps Rugby Union Club. After starting off as a juniors club a senior mens team under Len Issa was formed in 1996.

The Hunters Hill Rugby Union Football Club (HHRUFC) is the one of the oldest and most prestigious clubs in the Sydney Suburban Rugby Competition, Commonly known around Sydney as the ‘Hillies’, the club was established in 1892.
