The Rotary Club of Sydney was the first Rotary Club in New South Wales, chartered on 7 May 1921. Our Club was established, along with the Rotary Club of Melbourne, following a visit by representatives from North America who came to Australia with the purpose of establishing Rotary in Australia. There are now 1,164 Clubs established in Australia each of which can link its origins to either the Rotary Club of Melbourne or the Rotary Club of Sydney.
