Tasmania Golf Club has hosted many significant events including the Australian Amateur Championship and the Tasmanian Open. On many such occasions the course has proved more than equal to the best professional players.

In 1973 a planning committee was formed in conjunction with the Penguin Bowls Club. The Penguin Council had purchased a farm owned by a Mr Brown and sought the services of Thomas Crown and Associates, who were course architects.

Barwon Valley Golf Club is an 18 hole public inner city golf course, providing low cost golf and driving range facilities to the broader Geelong Community. The course occupies 54 hectares of public open space land known and the Belmont Common, on the banks of the Barwon River and only kilometres from central Geelong.
Eastwood Golf Club is set on 48 hectares at the foot hills of the Dandenong Ranges, just 40 minutes from the heart of town. With it’s panoramic views and magnificent gardens providing the perfect environment to get away from it all, be it for business, or pleasure.

The original Huonville Golf course was first formed in 1932 at Grove on the property owned by Mr Parsons (now that of Don Heron). The club affiliated with the STGU in 1933. The land was sold in 1940 and the club moved to Ranelagh near the Wilmot bridge on land owned by H.L. Clark and I. H. Walton later owned by Tom Francomb.
