Entrepreneurs Capricorn Toastmasters

Entrepreneurs Capricorn is Rockhampton’s early morning Toastmasters club. We meet at 6.30 am on alternate Fridays. We finish by 8 am.
We will be meeting online until the social isolation rules are relaxed.

We use the same world-class materials that are used in 16,800 clubs in 143 countries. Over 4 million people have benefitted from the Toastmasters program since it was established in 1924.

Toastmasters empowers individuals to become more effective communicators and leaders. Our club provides a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which each individual member has the opportunity to develop oral communication and leadership skills, which foster self-confidence and personal growth.

When you join a club, we will help you clarify your personal and professional development goals. Then we will set you on a path designed to help you build the competencies you need to communicate and lead. These could be:

– Mastering communication skills
– Become a visionary or persuasive speaker
– Leading small or large teams
– Leading a project
– Developing your leadership, motivation or coaching skills
Every Toastmasters journey begins with a single speech. During your self-paced journey, you will learn to tell your stories. You will listen and answer, plan and lead, give feedback—and accept it. Through our community of learners, you will find your path to leadership.
