Australian Antarctic activities were originally carried out under the banner of ANARE (Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions). These activities are now called Australian Antarctic Program. Our Club serves and supports current and former Australian Antarctic expeditioners. We are also keen to spread awareness of Antarctic affairs among the wider public.

Ultimate was introduced to the Hills area in 2003 by a Touch Football coach. In the beginning it was just a distraction from touch football and games were often played as pickup with up to 10 a side. In late 2003 with financial support from NSWFDA, a league with 5 teams was established by George Atton. Player numbers fluctuated over the next 2 years.
In 2005, Hills Ultimate hosted its first tournament, the Hills Hoist. Many new players in the district were introduced to the game, such as (then) Junior Worlds players, Ellie Sparke and Steve Gangemi. The league doubled to 8 teams and was moved to its present location at Eric Mobbs Recreational Reserve. A website was established and team shirts were obtained for the first time.
2006 saw the first Hills Winter indoor league, and the Summer outdoor league expanded to 2 divisions.
It was back in the early seventies when a small group of people, owning Customline’s would have the occasional get together to share their common interest in v8 powered vihicles.

The club caters for all unmodified 48 series and FJ Holden vehicles manufactured from 1948-1956. Club aims for the restoration, preservation and use of unmodified Holden vehicles made 1948 to June 1956, as well as providing a meeting place for owners to obtain and exchange technical advice.
Our club has been around since the late seventies, and is situated in the Hunter Valley. We cater for all Holdens that are 30 years or older.

At the 72-78 Ford V8 club of N.S.W, we are a very casual and social club full of all sorts of characters. We accept all fords of that era, ranging from XA to XC sedan’s, coupe’s, ute’s, wagon’s, panel van’s, including landau’s, LTD’s, fairlanes, cortinas and F100’s!
