The AHSDC was originally founded in 1966 by a group of enthusiastic Spridget (i.e. Sprite/Midget) owners. As the name suggests, the club is oriented towards driving type activities; however it has an extremely strong social core which is mainly the reason why it has survived for such a relatively long period of time.
